The Basics

Imposter Party is a social deduction word game for 3-20 players on a single phone. In each round, every player secretly sees a word — except the imposter(s), who only get a vague hint.

Players take turns giving one-word clues related to the secret word. The goal for regular players is to prove they know the word without giving it away to the imposter. The imposter's goal is to blend in and avoid detection.

After the clue round, everyone discusses and votes on who they think the imposter is. If the group correctly identifies the imposter, they win. If the imposter survives the vote, they win!

Set Up Your Game
